Monday April 7 - Hana Attempt Turned Mud-Fest Turned Surf Day

We got all geared up to ride to Hana. This was a big deal for me since I had never been there before. However the rain from this morning lingered on the roads making them messy and slick. It also looked like the east end of the island might get a lot of rain so we bailed about an hour into the ride. We stopped at Ho'okipa on the way back to check out the surfing. Some bikini clad chick was getting all the waves. We tucked our tails and headed back to the house. The wind wasn't bad so we pulled out the Go Board. Everyone is a hero on the Go Board! Laura hadn't forgotten much....
